Description
The Senior Technical Consultant is a delivery resource who possesses actual and recent hands on configuration, implementation and integration expertise relative to the analysis and/or the deployment of highly complex networked solutions. These solutions may be inclusive of the following technologies/solutions: IP Telephony, Network Security, Firewalls, QOS, Multi-cast, Network performance analysis, network monitoring and intrusion detection etc.

The Sr. Network Engineer will be a delivery Subject Matter Expert (SME) as such will be the final authority in matters of implementation, network integration and configuration best practices.

Basic skills/requirements include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in related technology e.g. Science, Electrical Engineering, math or physics from four-year College or 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

CCIE Voice or CCIE Switching and routing with actual demonstrated and significant Voice/Meeting place implementation and configuration expertise Current CCIE

Cisco IPT Telephone Design Specialist

Preferred:

CCNP or CCSP

MCSE

Any Security certifications


Valid current Driver’s license

Valid Credit card to pay for travel expense

Travel 40"-50"df-tc
