Well established Altamonte Springs Company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chief Information Officer / Chief Technology Officer. The Chief Information Officer (CIO) reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for managing all information technology issues, including hardware, software, communication networks, plus company designed – developed software systems/applications and services.Peoplesoft JD Edwards One World Web ServersSQLMicrosoftVM Ware SANs and Blade Server environments a plusAlso, a minimum of ten years in a management role, strong leadership, communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Must have strong technical skills with a service-oriented passion, also a basic understanding of accounting and cost control procedures. Ideally will have a background in managing the development and deployment of web-based customer facing platforms. Comfortable in and/or previous experience in Manufacturing environment is a must. Function & Responsibilities: Managing the Information Technology staff, which includes the network administration. Planning and purchasing of all information technology products/services. Ensures the integration of all information technology systems within the company and customer environments. Manages the design and implementation of systems improvement. Ensures management is informed on all information technology and system issues, reports status. Provides a high level of technical support to all elements of the company. Manages the implementation of new computer software and hardware in support of the customers. Oversees and directs the entire software development and quality assurance teams. Develops the annual information technology business plan and budget in concert with all departments. Provides support to all areas of the company and assists on tasks/projects as required. Developing and managing the short and long-range strategic plan, utilizing “state-of-the-art” tools for increased productivity. Customer Service – the User Requirements is a high priority of this position. Responsible for customer facing production platforms, phone systems and integrated voice response platforms, helpdesk operations and hosted infrastructure.df-tc

Experience/Skills
An undergraduate degree is required, in business administration, computer science, or a related field. Must have a minimum of fifteen years experience in the information technology environment. A background in the field of assessment would be a positive. Must be knowledgeable of major software and hardware components, contract documents and integrated systems.
