ACS Heritage provides pharmacy program management solutions to reduce the cost and improve the quality of healthcare. We offer a full complement of pharmacy program management products and services, including: health care audit programs, automated prior authorization tools, electronic health records, DUR, disease management and other tools.

The ACS-Heritage CIO/VP will report directly to the Business Unit President, a $30MM division with headquarters in Richmond, Virginia.

Manage 35-40 employees in IT across 4 teams broken down as follows:
  • SQL Data managers
  • Project Management and Account Implementation Team
  • Infrastructure
  • Developers- dotted line (Resources will be shared between "ACS Heritage" projects and ACS Corporate R&D projects)

    Interface with Pittsburgh ACS data center group though no direct reports.

    Attributes/Qualities desired:
  • Person of strong character with solid management skills
  • Experience at the top of a large IT organization, including responsibility for infrastructure, development and project management
  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire team
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Politically adept in navigating divisions of big company
  • Track history of implementing controls and procedures to build repeatable "bulletproof" processes especially for implementation
  • Ability to move IT area from "fire fighting" to "fire prevention"

    Ideally:
  • Veteran from a similar corporate environment who knows how to watch the shop
  • MS background helpful to understand .NET development platform and extensive SQL Server environment
  • Healthcare background especially with PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Manager) background (EDS, MEDCO, etc.)df-tc
