CM Toolsmith / Software Engineer

• Integrate, maintain, and administer a suite of program-wide Configuration and Data Management tools (ClearCase, ClearQuest, Crystal Reports, etc.) in support of the Configuration Management, Data Management, Risk Management and other program activities.

• Integrate Rational tools suite to streamline program-wide CM/DM processes and to minimize manual labor.

• Provide the necessary maintenance to such program-wide tools as the System Modification Request System, Material Acquisition Request system, Program Action Item Log system, Risk & Opportunity system, Document Control system, and develop new tools and utilities as necessary.

• Develop tools-specific process documentation

• Train others in the proper tools usage.

Education:
BS Degree in Computer Science, EE or Network Engineering or equivilant.

This position requires US citizenship and an active or very recent (within past 24 months) DOD SECRET Security Clearance.

Experience/Skills

• 10+ yrs of Technical exp
  
• Expertise with Rational ClearCase & ClearQuest tools as a Tool Administrator.
  
• Experience with UCM and Crystal Reports is preferred.
  
• Solid working Knowledge of UNIX and Win/2K OS.
  
• Familiarity with GNU and OSF utilities.
  
• Ability to integrate and automate software development and configuration management processes
  
• Scripting(ant,Pearl,ksh,etc.)
  
• Programming (C/C++,Java,VB,etc.)
  
• Web(HTML, Javascript, AS/400).
