Description
Ajilon Consulting is working with our eastside suburban client to identify a COBOL/DB2 Programmer Analyst for a perm position.

Responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the development and enhancements of the Financial Systems
- Analyze and evaluate customer needs and develop solutions to meet them
- Provide analytical advice and direction for application and technology that impacts business operations
- Recommend modifications of basic IT systems in order to improve and simplify business systems and reduce operating cost.
- Provide after hour technical support as needed
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements related to software change controlsdf-tc

Experience/Skills
REQUIREMENTS:

Mandatory:
- COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM and JCL application development experience
- DB2/SQL and relational database structures experience
- Knowledge of Mainframe-based applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:
-Working knowledge of DataStage, WebFocus and/or Message Broker
