JOB:1ROLE Ops Developer Lead role in test environment support for all mainframe and distributed systems. Responsible for setting up and monitoring test environments for large projects. Working with lead developers, will process jobs through the end-to-end test model. Enforce JCL and change control standards on testing teams. Access to production systems means advanced knowledge of security software and design. System architecture - design and documentation methodologies required. Knowledge of multi-platform scheduling design and use of CA software tools. Responsible to enforce proper testing methodologies, tracking functions to requirements. Database unload and load and setup of structured, secure and qualified test data sets. Manage the recovery of data to point of failure. Experience with automated testing tools and monitors to construct and evaluate tests. ---------------------------------------------------------------------JOB: 2ROLE:Mainframe App DeveloperPosition Description Duties Detail design documentation Development and unit testing of internally developed applications Creates test environments at different levels and uses existing test files or creates new test files to evaluate code functionality Ensures code complies with architectural standards Uses Company approved design tools and product development methodology to build applications Program for release to the next level of testing environment in the Evaluates results against specifications and Logs defects. Reports results of unit testing to project teamSkills and Experience Required Must be able to read and understand technical and functional requirements documents Ability to translates specifications into code (modify existing an/or creates new). Creates, documents and executes unit testing on internally developed software programs Responds to issues raised during test review. Verifies program integrity against system specifications and standards Must have a solid demonstrated proficiency using debugging tools. A solid demonstrated proficiency using SQL or similar type of query language Solid demonstrated proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as VISIO. Strong Mainframe Programming Experience with COBOL, IMS, DB2, SQL Experience with PVCS and Endeavor---------------------------------------------------------------------JOB: 3ROLE:Systems AnalystSkills/Qualifications: 1. Minimum 4 - 7 years of health care experience preferred. 2. Previous experience preparing written analysis documents and project deliverables required. 3. Knowledge of operating systems required. 4. Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills required. 5. High proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required. 6. Successful completion of Microsoft Office Suite training preferred. 7. Strong organizational and follow-through skills, and particularly strong attention to detail required. 8. Strong creative problem solving skills required. 9. Demonstrated flexibility, self-discipline and ability to work independently, as well as within a group, required. 10. Ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external clients required. 11. Ability to handle multiple tasks required. 12. Ability to interact effectively with BCBSM representatives at various levels required. Technical Background: COBOL Language Microsoft Access 2003 or better Microsoft Excel Knowledge of IIS (not necessary but a plus) 3270 Mainframe (not necessary but a plus) ---------------------------------------------------------------------JOB: 4ROLE: Systems Analyst/Designer Position Description Model and package use cases by outlining the system's functionality and delimiting the system. Develop system design documents/specifications including data flow diagrams, program flow and logic.
