Description
We are seeking an accomplished Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who can also assume a strong Operational role with a small custom software/hardware development firm in rich media for broadcasting. This role is responsible for planning, recruiting and managing a world-class technology team and helping create the next generation of technology products. This person will join the executive team and be responsible for advancing the technology platform and crafting the technology strategy and roadmap to achieve the company's goals while building and leading the companys R&D efforts.
Industry experience in the following areas is strongly preferred: Software Development, Video, Computer Vision, and/or Digital Media. Experience in Broadcast Media is an additional Plus.

Qualifications/Required Skills:
10+ years of experience of software development for innovative technology companies
8+ years of experience successfully building, managing, motivating and mentoring world class engineering teams
7+ years of experience in top technology leadership positions developing, delivering and supporting critical products
Expertise with digital media, video, and high end web applications
Extensive cross functional leadership over engineering, IT, Operations and QA
Knowledgeable of current technology in Media, Computer Vision and Broadcast
Able to be hands on when needed
Understands from an engineering perspective what is required to get projects completed
Post graduate degree in engineering, computer science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Proven success setting goals, meeting milestones, and delivering product via effective organization and management
Excellent strategic planning skills
Ability to communicate well across diverse teams
