Location is Colorado Springs, Colorado

The Pre-Sales Consultant is a "front line" point of contact for our customers contemplating the purchase of Products and solutions through Web chat. Responsibility includes driving preference for clients products through technology education, solution selling and building brand loyalty. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, recommending the best solution for their needs and move customers further along in the purchase process (sales or leads) while providing an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities: Customer Solution Centers are made up of teams that provide remote (offsite) service; customer access, pre-sales, post-sales, and service delivery. Technical teams focus is to solve various business systems and applications problems for customers, onsite engineering personnel and Authorized Service Providers on standard, specialized or complex systems. Non-technical teams provide support to internal and external customers and resellers via incoming customer contacts to the HP Customer Solutions Center through telephony or e-support methods.
Senior: Applies extensive knowledge of the job skills, company policies and procedures to complete complex, specialized assignments/tasks in creative and effective ways. Comprehensive understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are complex in nature and require considerable judgment, initiative, and technical/specialized knowledge to resolve problems and/or develop recommended solutions. Work is completed with minimal supervision and assignments may be completed without established procedures. May determine methods and procedures for new assignments.

High school education or equivalent. Typically requires 3-5 years general experience, or equivalent combination of experience and college level education.
