Job Description:
Applicants must have excellent skills and a significant background in Project Management and analysis. We are looking for a strong candidate that has confidence in their abilities, a strong work ethic, and excellent customer skills.
. Provide leadership in business analysis for KYTC in the Department of Vehicle Regulation.
. Analyze the business area and develop documentation of all findings to include; the evaluation and requirements documentation for a help desk phone system solution, call routing, reporting, tracking, messages, business process improvements, etc.. All process improvements identified in the business area are to be documented.
. Develop a presentation of findings with a recommendation of a solution(s) for a help desk phone system, and all identified process improvements
. Perform research and provide research findings that will substantiate recommendations and support best practices.
. Develop a project in accordance with the standards, processes and architecture set by the Office of Information Technology.
. Provide leadership in the implementation of new technologies
. Provide leadership in the development of a project that will expand the utilization of the existing infrastructure and capitalize on KYTC's environment

Desirable Skill Sets:
. Must have expertise in help desk and call center operations and equipment.
. Five (5) years of professional experience as an IT project manager/analyst.
. The vendor staff should be a graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree; or a graduate of a college or university with an associate's degree in computer science. Experience in systems analysis or related technical or vocational training will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
. Must possess interpersonal skills required for managing group discussion, decision-making processes, including diplomacy, conflict resolution, and ability to encourage group participation.
. The vendor staff must possess skills associated with, but not limited to, the technologies that comply with standards set forth in the Commonwealth Enterprise Architecture and Standards, with a particular emphasis on using project management tools.
