Description
Responsibilities Include:

Defining and executing capacity model to ensure SAN, CPU, Memory, Account Pools and other key components are able to handle projected load

Provide trend analysis for early detection of potential capacity issues

Hold regular reviews with key stakeholders to review forecast and capacity

Oversight on performance load test to ensure they provide the necessary capacity data to feed into capacity model

Work with different infrastructure and application teams to implement monitors to measure performance, capacity and availability

Lead effort to onboard Commercial Card application to Internal dashboards to allow Technicians, Executives and Business to understand application status and it's measurement against defined SLA's

Prepare materials and present to executive management capacity outlook

Work with our business partners to gather forecast data to feed into the capacity model

Identify tools and processes to increase accuracy and reduce effort required to manage forecast and capacity

Requirements:

7 years of system model design, simulation and analysis of computer systems

5 years in a Java development role

Wily, Tivoli, Perform and Predict, Systar experience a plus

Unix server performance analysis and systems administration experience

Strong analytical and technical communication skills a must

Ability to analyze problems and think creatively to develop alternative solutions

Ability to organize and manage multiple concurrent tasks/duties
Previous experience with and understanding of ITIL Capacity Management processes

Manage priorities to meet deadlines in a high-energy environment
