Job Summary:

Reporting to the Team Lead, perform regular department builds, maintenance releases and patches as scheduled by the Team Lead. Contribute to the maintenance and creation of descriptive process oriented documentation. Perform all duties assigned by the Team Lead. Must know, practice and ensure that company policies and procedures and state and federal laws are followed at all times. Ensure that no company, employee or customer information is inappropriately divulged to unauthorized parties. This is not a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Ensure proper follow-through on all directives, bulletins and schedules from the Corporate Office and the Team Lead. Maintain a good flow of communication with the Department employees and within the Corporation.

2. Make sure customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention for all contacts and transactions.

3. Be familiar with procedures for handling all aspects of customer complaints and disputes and resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner. Advise the Tem Lead of serious complaints or incidents.

4. Ensure that processes are followed through the software development lifecycle process.

5. Verify software application and database version control. Compile software applications.

6. Create Install Shield or SMS packages, as required. Update Build Board intranet site. Troubleshoot build/compilation errors.

7. Act as a liaison to Support Services for the delivery of software applications to production.

8. Support other development members as it pertains to the change control process.

9. Manage the defect tracking system and transition issues, as they get included in the builds.

10. Publish configuration management related statistics.

11. Work with project leads to communicate build schedules and ensure work is complete for the build cycle.

12. Approve patches and other emergency fixes and coordinate them with the Software Quality Team and with the appropriate Team Lead and communicate to the appropriate members of development.

13. Maintain positive employee relations and morale whenever possible. Practice sound leadership and human relations principles to promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance. Resolve employee relations problems, complaints, suggestions, etc. Follow-through and communicate employee relations problems to the Team Lead.

14. Monitor all area related conditions, property and equipment within corporate standards for cleanliness, proper maintenance and safety. Advise Maintenance of all breakdowns and maintenance immediately.

15. Make sure all area conditions do not threaten employee safety. Respond to and follow proper procedures on employee accidents, injuries, and loss or damage to any property. Report all incidents immediately. Practice and instruct all employees in proper loss prevention and reaction procedures. Report all incidents properly and immediately.

Job Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor?s Degree or related experience required.

Experience: At least four (4) years in a programmer analyst or change management position working in an IT environment required. Must have experience in at least two (2) of the following: PowerBuilder, Visual Basic, SQL server, Oracle, RCS, SMS or Install Shield. A minimum of two (2) years experience with total life cycle development processes and technical documentation with a thorough understanding of the software compilation process is required.

Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle, possess a driver?s license and reliable transportation. Business use of a personal vehicle will be reimbursed through a mileage expense plan. Refer to the Travel Policy.df-tc
