Description
Our client, a venture-backed manufacturer of Wireless Networking products is seeking a Channel Sales Manager, located anywhere in the United States, preferably in or near the Top 15 Metro Areas in the United States.
The Channel Sales Manager position is responsible for developing new
business opportunities with new and existing Channel Partners in the US territory while evangelizing our company mission and strategic direction.
Build a Network of VARs, Systems Integrators, and OEMs/ ISVs.
The individual will build the Channel Sales team to market the firms products to channel partners, such as MSPs, ISV/ Applications Developer and VARs/SIs.
Key parameters to achieving success in this position include:
Knowledge of tiered distribution and channel selling models from manufacturer through end-user; ability to market and position the firms products to accounts in a very competitive marketplace;
ability to effectively communicate and manage customers at operational and senior management levels; ability to align, manage, prioritize and deliver revenue goals and MBO objectives;
knowledge of wireless (Wi-Fi, WiMAX etc.) networks marketplace and products.
Educations, Experience and Skills Requirements
BS or BA degree, preferably in business, finance accounting or computer science.
7+ years selling through partners and channels to SMB and sub-Enterprise Clients.
3+ years selling through partners and channels to the SMB and sub-Enterprise Clients.
10+ years selling direct to the F -500 Enterprise Clients Selling at the enterprise level C level - (not departmental level)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotasdf-tc
