As Channel Sales Representative for the Emerging Technologies Sales team, you will recruit, manage, and enable a select group of Value Added Reseller (VAR) partners and Systems Integrators (SI) to rapidly penetrate markets and grow mind share for our emerging technologies. You will establish and foster a network of focused channel partners able to position, support, integrate, and expand the use of novel security and control technologies to mid- and large-enterprise early adopters in North America.

REPORTS TO: Director of Channel Sales

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit, and develop prospective high-value VARs and SIs focused on security services

  • Foster and develop win/win relationships between us and channel partners at all organizational levels

  • Determine and represent the needs of emerging technology VARs to management, particularly those related to product development and partner services development

  • Assist partner representatives with the positioning and sale of our products through online and onsite presentations and demonstrations

  • Actively work to remove barriers from the partner sales process, so that we are the easiest vendor with whom to do business

  • Provide coordination, direction, and mentoring to inside sales representatives to achieve key goals of the channel partners

  • Attend and support Channel-related marketing events

  • Provide on-site training and enablement of Platinum and Gold-level partners

  • Support and leverage other channel efforts, field marketing, product launches, and sales generating programs

  • Executive selling skills

  • Able to take a Team-first approach towards work
