Description
Great company with excellent benefits is looking for a Sr Network Engineer who doesn't mind working in a dynamic environment both part of a team or individual. This Sr Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting all network activities including but not limited to installation of new hardware, monitoring LAN/WAN up time, ensuring high network availability, resolving complex client related problems, and designing and implementing all VPN/WAN links within the company and with external clients.Additional duties include:Monitor network links for performance within set thresholds - Troubleshoot and repair network related problems - Identify network configuration and/or performance irregularities. - Develop procedures to respond to these irregularities in a timely manner - Create/Maintain Network support documentation. - Ensure entire network is properly monitored. Ensure that alerts regarding network outages are addressed in a timely manner - Implement and support network Infrastructure. - Full understanding of VOIP. - Install/Configure/Maintain all DNS/DHCP infrastructure - Maintain a high level of functionality and availability of all VPN links, ISCO switches, firewalls, Wireless networks, and WAN links. - Document and improve existing processes. for immediate and confidential consideration or if you would like to refer a friend e-mail: john.rivera@rht.comdf-tc

Experience/Skills
Routing- Layer 3, Switching Layer 2, NAT, WAN Protocol - High proficiency with Routing Protocols, VPN, Secure Remote, ASA's and PIX firewalls,- OSPF, Operating Systems Cisco (Primary) Windows Servers in 2003, DHCP/DNS/WINS/FTP, Cat 5/5e/6 and fiber. Redhat Linux is a plus. Experience with - IP subnetting, Telecommunication - Solid understanding of TCP/IP, including; DNS. Strong performance tuning and capacity planning experience - Provide 24 x 7 production support on a rotating basis. - Ability to work in a team and individually. - Must be able to perform effectively in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment while maintaining a high level of service. - 3-5 years experience as a Network support engineer, Must be open to limited Travel. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent Experience.Certifications a Plus:CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, MCSE, MCSA, MCP
