Cisco Security Engineer; Robert Half Technology is currently seeking skilled Cisco Security Engineers with 3-4 years experience is a similar role. Responsibilities include pre-sales, design, implementation & support of all elements of Cisco Security solutions. Instruction of installed projects and Cisco official training courses. Must have knowledge of Cisco Secure appliances (including ASA, PIX, FWSM, VPN Concentrator, and Firewall IOS), Cisco PIX, Cisco IOS Firewall feature set, ACL's and VLAN ACLs, IPSec and SSL VPN solutions: Cisco VPN 3000, PIX, Cisco IOS, Symantec Enterprise VPN, IPSEC technologies (including DMVPN, SSL VPNs), Cisco Secure ACS for Wireless EAP authentication/accounting, VPN authentication, downloadable ACL's, AAA, and 802.1x, intrusion detection using SNORT, Cisco IDS, Cisco IPS 4xxx series sensors, Cisco Security Agent, Cisco works VMS. There will be a mix of providing cisco related training in the classroom and consulting with clients on projects. Flexible hours, on-call support and travel are required.

Experience/Skills
Cisco Security Engineer must have 3-4 year experience with IT with at least 3 years working as a security professional. CCIE Security required Experience with various security tools, such as NMap, Retina, Nessus a must. Strong knowledge in TCP/IP protocol stack and networking. Good communication skills, a proven track record in a technical customer service environment or a strong customer focus is required, problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, ability to grasp new technology. Flexible hours, on-call support and travel are required.
