Project Description:This person will help support a Full-Time employee with the Tier 3 support of a Cisco WAN Manager and Cisco ISC Applications that manage a Global Frame Relay Network. Job Description:Candidate must provide Tier3 support of Cisco Wan Manager (CWM) and Cisco IP Solutions Center (ISC), used in the management of our client's ATM, Frame Relay, AVPN, and IPFR/eVPN networks and services. Candidate must have strong technical knowledge of FR/ATM network elements and L3 IP/MPLS VPN implementations, as well as a good understanding of the north bound data OSS architecture and OSS implementation. In addition, relationships between network elements, EMS, and OSS in terms of data flow, parameter exchange, etc. must be well understood.
Candidate must be very familiar with network management concepts, troubleshooting methodology, scripting, software development, server technology (including OS), SNMP, ATM, Frame Realy, IP, MPLS, and data protocols in general. Candidate must be an excellent technical support specialist, who is able to correlate symptoms with diagnostic information and other variables, then drive the vendor to a detailed root cause analysis and game plan. The candidate must be prepared to work on-call, and respond to escalations on a 24x7 basis and work under significant pressure. Testing in the lab is often required to replicate and understand field issues for purposes of RCA and fix development. Candidate must partner well with lab partners, OSS development and support teams, vendor engineers, customers, and management, including executive level. Very strong communication and presentation skills are required.
