Description
The primary objectives of the project are to:
. Document the "AS IS" Application/Desktop Delivery Environment
. Recommend the "TO BE" Environment to support the Business Use Case.

The following items will be addressed in the scope of this project:
. Identify the current-state of Application/Desktop Delivery Environment
. Determine the vision of the end-state for Virtualized Application/Desktop Delivery
. Develop a high level outline defining the approach to execute the proof of concept and implementation.
. Develop and ROI and budgetary proposal supporting the solution

Project Approach
The following depicts the approach that will be taken to complete the project objectives:
. Review and document the current technical environment with customer at a high level
. Design the new Application/Desktop Delivery model
. Review the new model details with customer and adjust as appropriate
. Document the new Application/Desktop Delivery model as outlined in the deliverables section.
. Develop a high level outline defining the approach to execute the proof of concept and implementation.
. Document the ROI and project budget spreadsheet for the solution
. Finalize the Application/Desktop Delivery Strategy and Approach

Experience/Skills
Project Deliverables

. A Strategy Document that identifies business needs like availability of applications, remote access requirements, etc.
. A Strategy Document that identifies the business critical applications that must be accommodated in the solution design, are they already proven in Citrix technologies, and which applications are recommended for proof of concept.
. A Strategy Document that provides an architected design solution outlining the virtual presentation method(s) for best end-user experience.
. A Strategy Document that provides a technical design topology diagram of the solution showing the devices and quantity required in each network segment (i.e. Data Center, LAN, WAN, Internet)
. A Strategy Document that lists Use case(s) supporting the business needs that are receptive to virtualization technologies in the recommended design solution.
. A Strategy Document that provides budgetary costs to implement the recommended proof of concept.
. A Strategy Document that provides a high level outline defining the approach to execute the proof of concept.
. A Strategy Document that provides budgetary costs to implement the recommended solution in to production.
. A Strategy Document that provide a return on Investment analysis.
