Multi-discipline engineering and land survey firm servicing private and public sector clients throughout California and the Western United States since 1983 actively seeks Land Development Civil Engineer for our growing Shingle Springs office.

Ideal Land Development Civil Engineer candidates will posses a minimum of 5 years of geotechnical experience. Applicants must have eight years of overall experience, six years of commercial land development experience and a current California P.E. license. Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, good organizational skills and be proficient with AutoCAD. Proficiency with water modeling and civil design software a plus. Land development experience in Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado and Yolo Counties is also highly desirable. The Land Development Civil Engineer will be responsible for coordination and supervision of designers, cad technicians and outside consultants for commercial land development projects. He/She will supervise a project team of designers and cad technicians and be responsible for project schedules, budgets, deadlines, and design quality.

The Client staff is comprised of Professional Engineers, Surveyors and Geologists being supported by a technical staff of Laboratory, Field and Drafting technicians. Clients Land Development Department provides these services for our clients: design development; grading plans; hydrology/hydraulic studies and design; subdivision design/site development plans, electric, gas, telephone, water and sewer lines; construction documents; calculation packages; engineers estimates; permit and agency processing; construction administration; construction management; construction observation; and district engineer services.
