Scope of work: The IT Metrics &Reporting Engineer is responsible for publishing information used byIT executives and management to monitor department performance andperform analysis of project, resource and financial data.
This is a senior level and very visibleposition. Technical skills are required but will not qualify acandidate lacking functional knowledge.
Job Duties
Publish data as dashboards,spreadsheets, reports, and in other formats
Maintain the ITLC Web site
Support the publications above
Act as a mentor by explaining tocustomers the data and how they are to be used
Learn about and act as secondarysupport for the Clarity product
Assist with other process andproduction needs of IT Finance, the Project Management Office, or theIT management team as required
Required skills/competencies:
Ability to deliver as well asconceptualize new tools and reports
Well-honed analytical skills andability to focus on details
Expert level proficiency in Excel,including VBA
Expert level proficiency inHyperion/Brio
Medium level proficiency in HTML/webdesign
Ability to learn new tools andenvironments quickly
Ability to understand and build datamodels and perform data transformation
Excellent oral and written Englishcommunications skills
Ability to communicate and collaboratewith people at all levels of the organization
Experience in gathering and documentingrequirements
Experience in producing operationaldocumentation
Understanding of basic accounting andfinancial concepts
Preferred Skills: Experience inproject management, resource management and resource planning
Knowledge of CA Clarity project andresource management
Knowledge of Open Workbench
Experience with formal changemanagement processes
Experience with business forecastingand planning
All candidate submissions must includethree professional references familiar with candidate's work inrequired competencies.
Candidates chosen for second roundinterviews will be administered live test of Excel/VBA andHyperion/Brio skills.
Occasional weekend and overtime workperformed in Miramar, FL may be required at short notice.
No interview or relocation expenseswill be paid for non-local candidates.
