We have an immediate need for a Clean Room Materials Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION
These are contract-to-hire positions.

There will be 2 months of training in Holland, MI and after that, the work will be in Carol Stream, IL.


Job entails performing and coordinating all material related activities as they pertain to supporting the Clean Room assembly operation. Person must be able to function in a faced paced team environment and ensure all material related movements and transactions are performed in a timely and accurate manner.

Job requirements/responsibilities:

1) Will operate a hi-lo truck to move materials. Must posses or obtain a Hi/Lo license.

2) Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

3) High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. Prior experience in material handling helpful.

4) Must have the ability to apply basic math skills, add, subtract, multiply and divide. Will also need to perform basic calculator operations.

5) Must have the ability to perform, comprehend, and understand the function of the Materials Management computer system. Prior experience with computers is necessary.

6) Will prepare and ship customer orders. Will also be required to contact carriers and perform data entry for tracking of shipments.

7) Will move incoming, in-process and finished materials to locations within the plant. Will also maintain the flow of materials to and from production cells. Will also be required to contract suppliers for Return Material Authorization and perform data entry for tracking of inventory.

8) Will maintain accurate counts of raw material and finished goods by performing physical counting of parts. Will make required inventory adjustments to maintain correct counts.

9) May be required to work with purchasing and planning to investigate the reason for any count discrepancies. Will enter data into computer for tracking of inventory.

10) Must be flexible in work assignments and able to work overtime as required.

11) Must be able to work in a self-directed team environment with minimal supervision.
