Position Summary:

The Client Relationship Manager is responsible for establishing and enhancing long-term customer relationships within assigned accounts. In addition, the Service Account Manager will support the Sales organization in developing, positioning, and closing the Service solution for both new and existing customer opportunities.

The Client Relationship Manager will develop, maintain, and execute formal account plans for each assigned customer. The plan, developed in conjunction with the customer input, will encompass service quality and customer satisfaction objectives; referenceability goals; business growth potential for product and service; as well as account profitability objectives. Success in this position is predicated on serving as the customer business partner, identifying, proposing and closing solutions that solve business problems and/or enhance the customer?s overall experience with Kronos.

The Client Relationship Manager works closely with Sales and Service personnel to leverage the resources required to address customer requirements. In addition, The Service Account Manager will leverage internal resources to appropriately set customer expectations; create accurate, well-defined proposals; and monitor Kronos service engagements for assigned accounts to ensure that customer and Kronos objectives are achieved. The Service Account Manager will serve as the bridge for the customer as they transition through implementation, go-live and into steady state.

The position reports to the Manager, Account Management.

Principal Responsibilities:

Support for New Business Activity
* In conjunction with Sales, participate in discovery engagements and prepare and present service solution alternatives to fit customer needs.
* For qualified opportunities, scope solution and develop a service proposal setting forth an estimate of resource requirements, rates and pricing that encompass the Professional and Educational Services proposed solution. The proposal is developed in conjunction with Service management, ensuring viability from a delivery and timing perspective.
* Monitor the implementation progress for assigned customers ensuring that agreed upon objectives are being achieved
* Participate in the formal transition of assigned customers from the implementation phase to Support.

Account Management
* Develop an Account Plan for each customer providing a one-year view of potential/proposed objectives and related activity. The account plan will encompass specific customer objectives (business, operational) and the planned Kronos response.
* Build and maintain strong, effective, and sustained relationships with senior client management. Establish ongoing face-face sessions with customer management to identify and respond to business challenges ? in a consultative capacity.
* Proactively propose solutions to address business challenges faced by the customer. Leverage Sales and/or Service personnel as required to develop the solution.
* Effectively navigate the Kronos and/or customer organization to solve account issues, as necessary
* Monitor account activity on an ongoing basis (Clarify/Changepoint), ensuring that bottlenecks are identified and resolved on a proactive basis.
* Effectively work with Sales counterpart to ensure an integrated plan and response to customer needs.
* Provide ongoing updates/account reviews to Sales and Service management that portray performance against planned account objectives
