Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Clinical Application Support Analyst to join our team in Palm Beach, Florida.

Job Responsibilities:
In this position you will work onsite to support physicians and office staff with various hardware/software support of their desktops and be the technical resource as first level response and support for physician applications. You will teach physicians and office staff how to use the software and will use excellent communication and customer service to support the technology.

You will be responsible for supporting the end-user community through the installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of network systems, workstations, and other computer hardware with primary focus on application support with physician and hospital staff end-users. This position is also responsible for the resolution of problems and the implementation of new functionality for network systems. Will require knowledge associated with networking technologies. Will assist in help desk services, maintaining network systems, documentation and adheres to policies, procedures, and standards of the organization.

Required Skills:
  • 3-5 years working knowledge of hospital workflow and supporting applications and basic desk side, network, and printer support skills, experience in stalling software and training users on use of software applications
  • 3 years experience supporting clinical applications
  • High degree of professionalism and ability to appropriately respond in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • MS Office and Windows experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 45lbs
  • 3-5 yrs healthcare/hospital IT experience and knowledge of hospital clinical applications
  • Will require on-call support

    Desired Skills:
  • Instructional end-user software training experience
  • Physician Order Entry experience with M2 Webchart (CDR) or any other vendor system

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • Dell Certified Professional preferred

    25% local travel
