Description
My client is looking for an experience Clinical Infomaticist to provide leadership to highly visible, sensitive and multi-faceted clinical projects. Responsible for the successful management and production turnover of projects to production Ensure that production turnover of projects are prepared to meet RCHSD/ISD acceptance policy criteria. Responsible for development, implementation, support, maintenance of clinical systems and clinical standards within the Clinical Information System team.

Prefer experience in Project Mgt, SLDC and ITIL process methodologies.

Required Bachelor's degree or Advanced degree in Health Care Informatics related fields such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Information Systems, Health Care Administration, Business. Relevant experience in excess of five (5) years may be substituted.

- Minimum of 5 years as a clinician or practicing clinician in a patient care setting (preferably acute) within the past 10 years.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed with excellent organizational, analytical, writing, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge in fundamentals of hospital organization, management techniques, JCAHO, HIPAA and Title 22 requirements are required.
- Demonstrated policy/procedure writing, regulation interpretation, organization planning, education program development, facilitation, communication and presentation skills essential.
- Ability to communicate clearly and make oral presentations to a broad spectrum of individual and groups, including senior management and to prepare concise and/or detailed written reports.
- Understanding of health care patient administration, financial and clinical systems
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills, strong problem solving skills.
- Strong computer skills, skilled in using Microsoft Office tools.
- Must be able to work under pressure, following a plan and balancing competing requests by priority.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a project or implementation team.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively delegate project tasks and to effectively interact with people at all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity and trust, capable of maintaining confidential information.
- Experience with clinical information systems development and/or implementation.
- Previous experience as a clinical department manager, director, or leadership role in an enterprise wide system implementation.df-tc
