Description
Dataline is a premier provider of information technology services, infrastructure, and business solutions to a broad range of clients. Dataline currently has a need for two senior level Cobol Developers to assist our client, who is a large municipaility on the southside of Hampton Roads, VA, with redeveloping existing accounting applications based on new requirements. This is to be a four month contract with a high possibility of extension and qualified candidates could start immediately.

All candidates must meet the following professional requirements:
* Strong communication (verbal and written), time management skills, fast learner, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
* Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and product management team
* Committed to a quality end product
* Demonstrated ability to learn beyond professional training

Required Skills:
* Solid understanding and prior use of SDLC
* 5+ years of Cobol development
* CICS

Preferred Skills:
* DB2
* z/OS
* VSAM
* Undergraduate Degree (Preferred, but not required)
