Description

Berean Group is looking for a Cognos Developer / Analyst / Administrator with the following skills:

Job Description:
Responsible for developing and maintaining multidimensional models and cubes, creating catalogs, analyze and define required dimensions and hierarchies, building ReportNet Framework model/packages, building Report Studio reports and Query Studio packages, and generally analyze and determine solutions to design issues.
Perform Cognos configuration, administration and system performance, which include monitoring and testing.
Also, validate and implement Cognos software upgrades and apply patches across multiple development, test, and production environments.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline
Advanced degree in related technical field desired

Required Skills:
8+ years experience, with at least 4 years experience with Cognos Series 7 products (specifically Impromptu, PowerPlay, Transformer, PPES, and Configuration Manager) and at least 1 year with Cognos ReportNet.
Demonstrated experience developing and building multidimensional models and cubes, experience creating and maintaining catalogs, ability to analyze and define required dimensions and hierarchies, and ReportNet Framework.
Experience with Access Manager administering Cognos security is required.
Candidate must be able to validate and implement Cognos software upgrades and apply patches across multiple development, test, and production environments.
Ability to analyze and determine solutions to design issues is required.
Candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Location: New Orleans, LA, Houston, TX or Little Rock, AR
