Robert Half Technology is actively searching for a Cognos Developer for a client in the Richmond area.Performance Profile:
  • Responsible for supporting the operations/development needs for Cognos Reporting platforms.
  • Develop new reports using Cognos /other technologies.
  • Manage existing reports with enhancements and minor fixes.
  • Ensure Cognos system available and assist support team.

Experience/Skills
Position-specific Requirements:
  • 4 years of Cognos development experience.
  • 2 year of Java/J2EE experience.
  • 2 years of SQL Server 2005 database experience.
  • Solid understanding of Data architecture/standards.
  • Good analytical/trouble shooting skills.
  • Knowledge of BI solution lifecycle (SDLC) phases/activities.
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational/analysis skills.
