Description
As aCommercialization Program Manager you will be responsible and accountable for managing the commercialization efforts for Blackbaud’s new initiatives, which encompass products, services and solutions. In this capacity you will work closely with Product Management to lead a cross functional team of key stakeholders. You will be required to facilitate trade-offs across divisions to meet commercialization and organizational readiness objectives, as well as serve as the corporate communication hub for product commercialization. For the assigned initiative, ensure the new product offering and associated business processes are in place and sustainable through the three phases of product deployment: Early Adopter, Initial Commercialization, and Full Release.

To achieve this requirement, you will:

Lead a cross-division team in commercialization efforts
Work proactively to anticipate and recognize issues, lead troubleshooting efforts, and conduct necessary meetings to drive issues to closure
Serve as point of contact for commercialization information
Manage Early Adopter Programs as required
Develop and refine processes for new initiatives
Create, manage, and communicate the tactical project plan
Escalate issues to leadership team as necessary and manage resolution plans to closure

Required Experience:

Three to five years of progressive project or program management experience, preferably in a commercial software environment
Managing the introduction of new products, preferably in a commercial software environment
Delivering program information and status updates to executives
Proven ability to drive for results on projects involving multiple departments making trade-offs as necessary to meet company and client product goals
Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

Prior work experience may include: consulting, program management, customer technical support, development, quality assurance, release management, or sales engineering
Knowledge of non-profit organizational issues
Knowledge of the assigned domain
General technical knowledge is desired, such as u nderstanding of.NET & Web Services, SQL Server, and IIS
Experience with Blackbaud productsdf-tc
