Within Corporate Information Management (CIM), the Compliance Office is responsible for ensuring Corporate information assets are protected by complying with the Information Asset Protection Policies, Office of Privacy Policies, and other regulatory (SOx, HIPAA, etc.) policies. Focusing on reducing risk and limiting pharmaceutical client liability, the team provides security, privacy, and regulatory consultation, and risk management services for all Corporate project efforts. Additionally, the team provides campus wide incident investigation services, education, awareness, and best practice recommendations to ensure a Credo based work environment. The essential duties and responsibilities for this job are:Understand the pharmaceutical client Corporate Information Asset Protection Policies.Understand the pharmaceutical client Corporate Privacy Policies.Perform technical compliance package assessments (security, privacy, external site audit, other) as required for effective risk management operation.Provide consultative guidance for all CIM project teams and business teams relevant to policies, guidelines, and best practices.Assist the CCO team to investigate security incidents and follow-through with corrective response scenarios.Provide written and verbal communication such as status reports, progress reports and documentation to CCO Management.Increase knowledge and gain experience by researching on subjects such as, but not limited to audits, security reviews, federal regulations and security best practices.Contribute to the CCO department goals and objectives.
Technical Experience -Experience auditing both application development processes, operating systems, and network functions (Desired),Solid understanding of programming, operating environments, networks and a Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. (Required),Demonstrated skills in performing risk management servicesdf-tc
