Description
as a member of the Operaitons Team, whose duties include: monitoring and problem resolution related to mainframe backup environment utilizing IBM's XRC technology, proactively identifying hardware, software and
media problems, escalating appropriately within the established guidelines, supporting and participating in initiatives that improve throughput, deliverables quality and cost. Other duties will include mounting tapes, slot tapes, work/troubleshoot SiLO issues, identify network problems, IPL/Use a HMC, Z/OS operations, work independently and be able to understand multiple data center concepts, and provide MBNA with
superior customer service.

Responsibilities include monitoring mainframe transmissions, server consoles, batch process completion times, monitoring Stratus server
consoles, and escalating problems to level 2 support. Experience is expected in a zOS or MVS Command Center environment. df-tc

Experience/Skills
Seasoned professional with technical console operations capabilities and knowledge.
2 year college degreee or equivalent work experience
2nd shift - 3pm to 11:30am
