Description
To provide management, work direction and expertise to the computer operations function of the organization. This position requires the maintenance and support of our entire computer and network operations.

This position will be responsible for managing our internal help desk, supporting a 500-user network. Establishes, implements and administers policies and procedures to support the organizations computer support services. Manages the deployment, maintenance, support and upgrade of servers, desktop PCs, hardware, software, operating systems, and distributed printers. Provides oversight for maintaining the organizations secure network infrastructure. Provides tactical and strategic input on the overall network planning, computer operations and other related projects. May troubleshoot various systems and recommend improvements. Supports and administers data retention and recovery. Develops and implements, and maintains a successful disaster recovery/business continuance strategy.

Experience/Skills
  • Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent direct related experience.
  • Four to Seven years' related experience required. >li>Strong familiarity with networking concepts, routers, hubs and switches.
  • Prior support environment experience, supervising a help desk environment is required.
  • Experience with SANS (Storage area networks) and enterprise backup procedures are helpful.


Will require On-Call Responsibilities.
