Global Financial Firm located in ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ has an immediate opening for a Computer Operations Senior.

Scope of Work: Scope of Work:



Hours: 8PM 5AM - 2 resources

2PM 11PM 2 resources



Primary Responsibilities:
Multi-Vendor Computer Console operator for NSC data center supporting a muli-Vendor hardware/software data processing environment responsible for over 20 business applications and 170+ Servers supporting Clients Image Item Processing and Database Management Systems.

Serves as a liaison to NSC project teams working to ensure all aspects of Data Center Operations are tested and documented in advance of production installations.

Command Center problem management - log and document issues, escalate problems, document resolution
User support - telephone/email support for user requests calls to NCO Data Center including production report requests, test projects and running test jobs for multiple NCO UAT tests

Follow strict data center documentation guidelines(STR's, Logs, Checklists), support Shift Supervisor managing service interruptions coordinating necessary escalation to support teams.

Competencies Required: Job Skills:



3-5 years Data Center/Command Center operations experience in a multi-Vendor hardware/software data processing environment
Knowledge of Unisys Clearpath Server, Windows, Unix system commands required
Strong Verbal and Written communications skills
CANDE, WFL, MCP, Veritas Backupexec, MS Office Suite experience a plus.

Experience with Oracle, Financial Service industry, Check/Item Processing background helpful.df-tc
