Description
Job duties: Performs production-processing functions under the guidelines of the daily, weekly, and monthly schedules including job scheduling, print and batch queue management and user support. Provides first level system support for DEC VAX computer systems and local and wide area network.
Education and/or experience required: High school graduation or its equivalent is required. A minimum of two (2) years practical experience in Computer Operations in a DEC VAX environment is highly desirable. Some experience with job scheduling techniques, network support, and Command Data experience is preferred.
Special Skill or Requirements: Good job scheduling skills. Care and attention to details is required. Must be able to work with minimum supervision, use sound judgement and elevate problems to appropriate as required. Understanding of PC's and Windows Operating systems is a plus.df-tc
