This position will manage a team of IT professionals, with a team size of at least 10 full time employees.Enforce SOX and Sof Configuration Management disciplinesServe as a solution leader in business initiatives and technology direction settingBusiness technology stewardshipEvaluate how well proposed technology solution fits business directionLead cross-functional team of business & technical staff in the delivery of solutions for distribution partnersBalance enterprise technology vision with business needsCreate & maintain technology migration plansIT Strategy: Assists in analyzing emerging technologies and translating implications of the new technology into an effective IT strategy.Strategic Planning: Assists in identifying new business opportunities, and analyzing critical issues.Employee Development: Coaches, develops, and manages their staff and managers by encouraging and rewarding results, growth and competency development. Identify skills needed based on business & technical strategies and plans.Communication: Consults, communicates and educates clients on current and future initiatives.Strategy Implementation: Develops and implements IT initiatives to support business strategy and goals.Portfolio Management: Manages IT services (i.e., IT infrastructure support, design and development of applications, network management and support, computer operations help desk support), for one or more products or clients.Vendor Management: Manages vendor relationships to maximize value to the business and IT. Financial Management: Provides input towards the formulation of budgets; manages costs and resources. Develops and holds teams accountable to a financial/business management approach to decision-making.Resource Management: Responsible for performance management and training plans, recruiting, and other HR activities. Forecasts hiring and training needs.
