Rate: Open (Will depend on skill sets and experience)

Location: Tukwila, WA: 98108

Smart Source Inc. is for a Configuration Technician that will meet/exceed the following requirements.

Requirements:

Familiarity of basic computer repair standards.
Tier 1 and Tier 2 computer hardware vendor Desktop, Laptop and Server lines
Computer hardware components (processors, memory, hard drives, optical drives, network cards, blade server back-planes and chassis, component cables)

Dell certification is a huge plus

Computer peripherals (printers, modems, monitors)
Microsoft operating systems including 98, 2K, 2K Server, XP, Server 2003 (familiarity with Vista a plus)
Standard Windows applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware applications as well as computer diagnostic tools

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work quickly and accurately to maintain production requirements
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

This position is expected to produce configured systems in a production environment for Client=E2=80=99s customers. High volume for system configuration and heavy volume in server configuration/burn in.
