Description
One year contract for a The Configuration Test Engineer who will play a key role within Service Supply Chain (CA) Technical Operations group. Will be responsible for development, and delivery of repair and re-marketing configuration processes for various products. Projects often require substantial research; data analysis, and solutions must be devised in conjunction with generally accepted practices within Company. This engineer should have significant experience with test engineering, product test, analytical and program/project management. Ability to design, procure and build test fixtures and systems and implement automated test tools used in the configuration of Cisco products.

Interacts with Test Engineers in Manufacturing and Contract Repair sites, and with other business functions such as NPIE. Interfaces with Engineering on a regular basis regarding technical issues, testability, and manufacturability. Interacts with vendors regarding test solution and deployment. Provides solutions to complex problems, which require creativity. Resolves cross-functional issues.

Requirements:
1. Must have 3-4 years experience in testing Cisco products. Catalyst 6K is the most relevant product line.
2. Must have experience in utilizing Automated Testing Tools (List all utilized)
3. Must have 2-3 years experience in configuration testing (taking customized fixtures and systems and testing them to be sure they are still highly functional)

Preferred:
1. Autotest/Klemtest experience. This is an internal automated testing tool that the individual will be working on. This will be a tremendous plus!

Bottom Line: This individual will be taking standard Cisco fixtures and systems and will be providing support on configuration design and limitations. They will also be testing the customized fixtures and systems via a Companys internal testing tool called Autotest or Klemtest (known as both). Previous experience with testing of the Cisco products line as well as previous configuration research/test support are essential.
