Description
CDI Engineering is seeking experienced Construction Buyers with materials and equipment emphasis.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years construction purchasing experience with working knowledge of procurement techniques, procedures, policies, accounting and business contract laws.
- Purchase and/or lease experience of construction materials and equipment, replacement parts
- Chemical plant experience
- Ability to prepare written inquiries or obtain verbal quotes for vendor supplied items in compliance with requisitions and/or specifications
- Ability to receive vendor bids, evaluate bids considering price, delivery date, past performance of vendor to determine successful bidder
- Ability to negotiate terms/conditions and place purchase orders and address change orders
- Prepare all required documentation for PO's, expedite awarded PO's
- Handle third party rental contracts as needed
- Accounting process knowledge preferred


SOFTWARE AND EDUCATION
-Proficient in MS Office Suite
- 4 year Technical or Business related degree preferred
