As a Consultant, Applications Development you will provide project management and client-facing analytical support for various Marketing and Sales Operations systems that support the sales force including Call Reporting, Field Sales Roster, Company Directed Education Programs (formerly VSB), Resource Allocation, Global Congress and Conventions Management, Sample Administration and Compliance, Promotional Services, Fleet, and Multimedia. You will provide analytical support for business process changes across Marketing and Sales Operations and the Compliance Office, including gathering and documenting requirements. You will work with our business clients and IS staff to proactively identify requirements, analyze options, design and implement short-term and long-term solutions to address complex needs that require ingenuity and creativity. You will also support and insure that all interfaces to internal and external systems are in place and are meeting our business requirements and IT standards.

This position requires a BS/MS degree with 10 years total experience, preferably supporting Pharmaceutical Sales & Marketing-based applications in a back-office function. Strong interpersonal, project coordination and both verbal and written communications skills are also required. PMP certification is a plus. Knowledge and past experience in support of the sales force is a plus. Candidate must have experience working on large and complex teams in a matrix environment and the ability to help others develop solutions to highly complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Candidate should also be able to model cross-functional collaboration and teamwork, encouraging others to do the same.
