Job Summary

As a Consultant – SAN/Storage Engineering , the candidate must have an advanced understanding of various Tape and Disk Storage Technologies. The Storage Administrator will architect, design, and engineer procedures and processes to ensure the availability, accessibility, performance, and protection of stored data and storage devices. The candidate will be responsible for architecture, design and engineering new storage solution associated with both EMC, HP, and NetApp disk storage technologies, Brocade Fabric Technologies and high-level architecture/design of storage area networks.

Job Responsibilities

SAN Architecture and Design.

Architect/Design/Develop storage technical solutions.

Architect/Design/Develop high-availability and data replication solutions.

Architect/Design/Develop operational and disaster recovery solutions.

Architect/Design/Develop Storage Resource Management solutions.

Basic Qualifications

The incumbent should posses a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree.

The candidate must be proficient in EMC DMX3/4, HP XP24000, EVA, Clariion, and NetApp Storage hardware platforms The Candidate should be equally as proficient in the EMC Control Center, Workload Analyzer, Storage Scope, Symm Optimizer and Navisphere storage management tools. In-depth knowledge of Brocade Fabrics and SAN.

Management design and configuration is mandatory.

Excellent project management skills are mandatory.

Ongoing training to increase skills in the SAN & Storage technical administration will be essential in this position given the complex environment and inter-dependencies between Storage, SAN, OS, multipathing Software.

Minimum ten (10) years working experience with a Bachelor’s degree. The work should include a segment in the required field of expertise, specifically Storage Management combined with either Windows or UNIX administration.

Relocation is not available for this position.
