Description
Assist in migration of content from existing customer support environment to SupportSoft Knowledge Center. Creates, updates, and modifies Internet and Intranet content, including the creation of HTML pages as well as the use of graphics software to create professional-quality animated Flash content. Must be able to take the lead or take direction as required on writing and editing copy and creating an appealing, user-friendly look, feel and navigation. Proactively proofs, edits and corrects content errors, including copy and broken links.

Content Manager responsibilities & requirements:
. Combines aspects of web editor and content developer to create and manage customer service and support content for F500 corp websites, CSR intranet-based support site, and other customer service and support tools required to ensure that customers and customer service employees have accurate and timely support information.
. Handles assigned projects and tasks from start to finish.
. Assists in establishing effective processes and guidelines for updating service and support content
. Works with team to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines
. Works with team to evaluate project, assess web strategy and deliverables, refine project plan, get buy-in from other business groups where appropriate, and then execute; this includes strategizing what pages and content are needed, editing existing/provided content, addressing navigational impact, identifying promotional needs and cross-linking opportunities, obtaining necessary graphics, etc.
. Works with Marketing Creative Services to develop appropriate graphics for web content
. Applies best practices for web content strategy, usability and content delivery
. Adheres to all editorial guidelines and policies

Experience/Skills
.Exp using in: Macromedia Flash, HTML, Photoshop, FrontPage, InterDev, ASP, Javascript, Windows 95/2000, .
2-4 yrs of web content writing/development /design exp, including form development.
.Exp /customer support site design & email communication campaigns a plus.
. Bachelors in ENGLISH, MARKETING or Communications
Experience in Telecom or ISP a plus
. Excellent troubleshooting, QA and code documentation skills.
. Technical aptitude and problem-solving ski
