Description
Fortune 500 company is hiring a Content Producer is responsible for creating and managing content located on Internet web sites, including online properties. Reporting to the Manager of Site Operations, this individual will be performing tasks directly related to the administration of site content, and will be serving as both coach and support to a network of decentralized producers. This person will also be implementing promotional, informative, educational and entertaining content related to the web sites and related to company products with the coordination of product managers and cross-department groups. In addition, this individual will be collaborating with team members and system representatives to formulate recommendations for improvements to the content or to the functionality of the sites.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

. Implements html-based content into the network of web sites.
. Helps a group of decentralized producers edit and publish local content.
. Supports products or content channels by creating content supplemental to core content.
. Assists the web strategy effort by offering effective team participation to advance the sites.
. Helps the team mold specifications for new or enhanced content and functionality.
. Creates and maintains documentation for operational procedures related to the sites.
. Responds to feed back from end users and uses this feedback to improve the

Experience/Skills
BA/BS degree.
.Advanced HTML knowledge required.
. Comfort with ASP and SQL coding, personal code samples will be evaluated.
.Javascript knowledge helpful.
.Experience with online content production and management of Internet sites.
. Exp w/one or more Internet-centric CMS systems.
. 1 yr of professional copy editing
