We have an immediate need for a Cost Business Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION
Contract Cost Business Analyst responsible for actively managing and outlooking all cost aspects of a commercial contract: labor and non-labor (hardware and software) cost elements, resource management processes, understanding of US v. Offshore cost issues and levers, cost pools, et al. Provide advice and counsel to the DPE and the FA team on how to leverage opportunities to lower costs and mitigate cost risks.

Primary Job Responsibilities
Provide target analysis and roadmap assessments as well as identify financial exposures and opportunities to the contract - Prepare Cost Take out assessments - Prepare cost take-out attainment and total contract to cost case variance analysis Labor claiming management - reporting and analysis - Provide advice and counsel to key customer account and finance leaders - work-item creation and account structure change initiation - coordination of work items across geographies. Track and identify risks/opportunities in off-shore labor actuals to budget. Support the cost outlook process working with the Finance Organization Asset management, coordinate hardware/software capital plans, requests, and tracking of requests, analysis, reporting and planning of hardware/software costs. Analysis and understanding of network costs, overhead pools, competency cost pools. Prepare deep dive contract tower compare analysis.

Client will only consider candidates that are a financials-focused BA vs. project-focused.
