Job Description : Job Position Summary Description:This position is a direct customer-facing role supporting WTD interests across Verizon Wireless operations. The role is focused on improving customer satisfaction by understanding Verizon Wireless point of view and any pain points, acting as the customer s voice into the Microwave Business Unit and other organizations, supporting the return and repair process, ensuring that labs and equipment are ready for new product/software releases for customer evaluation, and supporting customer meetings. Key Responsibilities/Functions:Includes a comprehensive set of responsibilities:- Understand Verizon Wireless point of view and any pain points:o Act as a liaison to Sales to provide customer satisfaction focused support. o Interface directly with Verizon Wireless management and technical personnel as required. o Drive schedule requirements as they apply to bids, installations and troubleshooting.o Ensure process efficiencies and understanding for quotes and issues arising from quote efforts. - Act as the customer s voice into the Microwave Business Unit and other organizations:o Drive any installation/site concerns to Program Management. o Drive equipment issues/enhancements to the BU and PLM. o Drive current processes to efficiency. o Track PCNs, PIBs and other product notices/alerts to ensure that Verizon Wireless affected parties are aware. Assist Verizon Wireless in implementing changes. - Support the Return & Repair process:o Support and track as required to assure that Verizon Wireless is receiving R&R service in a timely manner and in accordance with the SLA. o Understand R&R metrics and trends and alert Verizon Wireless of any anomalies. - Ensure that labs and equipment are ready for new product/software releases for customer evaluation. - Support quarterly customer reviews and other customer meetings on key WTD topics/activities. Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)Working knowledge of ALU Microwave products, including hands on product experience. Knowledge of Microwave deployment protocols and procedures. Hands on experience in troubleshooting, problem solving and formal root cause analysis. Background in Microwave manufacturing process and R&D process. Proven leadership skills. Desired Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)Project Management experience on Microwave projects. Experience working directly with Verizon Wireless on key projects. Verizon Wireless operations understanding.
