Description

We re in search of a Technical Support Analyst to work on-site with our client in downtown Chicago, Illinois for a long-term contract engagement. This particular client is one of Chicago s oldest law schools.



The work schedule is going to be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 11am ? 7pm and Thursday, Friday 9am ? 5pm.



Candidates MUST have experience supporting both Windows and Mac environments and have a degree in the IT field.



Job Details:


  • Main responsibilities are assisting the student population with laptop/notebook issues
  • Students bring their own laptops to school, hop on the wireless network and go from there
  • Many students then have issues with viruses, wireless connectivity, etc.
  • As a Technical Support Analyst, you will be supporting a number of students and faculty as well as occasionally supporting and troubleshooting to the server level
  • All support will be on-site and you will be a main point of contact to resolve such issues as connections, office product support, peripheral device support and configuration of laptops onto the wireless network



    • Required Skills:


  • Minimally 2+ years of desktop and phone support experience
  • Highly prefer a degree in the IT field
  • Familiar with Microsoft AD and basic troubleshooting
  • Must have Mac OS experience in addition to Windows as students are bringing in more and more Mac notebooks
  • HP Printers
  • Connectivity support experience
  • Experience support a Mac environment
  • Configuring laptops to work with the wireless network.
  • Adobe
  • MS Office
  • NT/XP environments
