Description
Our client in the Allentown, PA area is seeking 2 Web/Email/Print Production Designers for contract positions lasting approximately 6 months. These are not temp to hire positions. One Designer is needed who is more experienced with Illustrator, Quark, HTML, etc. while the other should be stronger on the print side of design. But all candidates should have some experience on both sides.
General details for both positions are below.
Summary:
Responsible for graphics design production of emails, Web updates, landing pages, banners, product packaging, catalog, and other print pieces as directed.
Principal Activities:
*Produce email, Web updates, landing pages, banners and product, packaging, catalog, and other print pieces for our client based on templates and layouts and direction provided.
*Understand and produce work based on best-practices for email, web, and direct mail
*Ensures that designs effectively communicate the client brand positioning
*Responsible for meeting project and department timelines.
*Understands the requirements of each task and prioritize tasks.
*Work with production team members to keep PPK project sheet up to date.
*Able to handle multiple tasks and flex the schedule based on priorities and needs as the arise.
*Seeks input from the Director when agreed upon timeliness are in jeopardy.
*Responsible for preparing the digital output for Prepress and outside vendors.

Experience:
*2 years job related experience in email/web/print design, advertising agency or corporate creative design experience.
*Working knowledge of prepress functions, color, design systems and software.
*Proficient in Photoshop, Quark, InDesign, Illustrator, HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver MX, Flash and other relevant programs.
*Working knowledge of Macintosh computer system.
*Ability to work under pressure of timeliness and at deadline, ability to develop concepts quickly, good communication skills, flexible, reliant and a team player.

Education:
BS, BA, or AS in graphic design, Web design, advertising.
