Creative Web Professional to assist with the overall creative direction of West Virginia, government website, and its online applications, websites and other services. The selected candidate will be working with a small group of dedicated individuals on the production of many exciting and challenging web projects that must be highly usable, accessible and visually appealing. The office environment is casual, flexible and fun.

Experience/Skills
Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience designing and developing websites and other print related materials
In-depth experience with HTML, CSS and Macromedia/Adobe Dreamweaver
A high level of proficiency in graphic layout presentation using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
A good sense of graphic and interactive design with a strong focus on usability
Knowledge of and ability to use business office products (Windows, Word, Excel, Acrobat, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for learning new technologies
Knowledge of cross platform and browser compatibility
Strong organizational, prioritization and multitasking skills
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, creative and strong sense of accountability
Desired Applications and Skills:

Knowledge and understanding of accessibility for individuals with disabilities (508 & W3C)
Understanding of the basics of Content Management Solutions (CMS)
Experience with Microsoft Content Management Server 2003 and Microsoft SharePoint Services
Experience working with ASP.NET web applications
Experience with Macromedia/Adobe Flash
Illustration abilities
Ability to work in a team environment on long term projects
Experience using IIS and CVS
Bachelors Degree =E2=80=93 with a focus on Graphic Design, Communications or Computer Science
