Description
Assists in the planning of project timelines in concert with the application manager and application architect. Represents the application team in the business requirements phase of the project. Works closely with the business users to identify, analyze, refine and document business requirements that can be clearly presented to application programming and technical teams. Works closely with the application programming and technical teams to clarify and understand business requirements. May serve a dual role as the point of contact for both business users and technical team members to discuss and clarify the interpretation of business requirements to technical specifications. Creates functional specifications and assists the application technical lead to produce technical specifications. Assists technical team in identifying requirements for each phase of testing. Assists in developing test plans and scripts as needed to support the technical team in meeting project deadlines.df-tc

Experience/Skills
This position requires a Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Sciences, Business Administration or related field, along with five or more years of practical business experience, with proven experience in operations analysis and implementation. This position requires above average written, verbal, and interpersonal communications aptitude as well as the capability to independently complete assigned projects and orchestrate the work of others assigned to larger, more complicated projects.

This is not an application systems programmer, although incumbents should have some systems knowledge, but is experienced with business unit needs in order to manage and translate them to technical programming group.
