Our client is seeking an experienced and savvy Cryptographic and Embedded Systems Engineer. This position will be based in Rochester, NY and will be a Third Shift position. This position will also require 10% travel. Relocation Package is available and offered to highly qualified candidates. Position Details
The Cryptographic and Embedded Systems Engineer - Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include:
concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and
disposal.
The chosen candidate ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
The chosen candidate performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Experience/Skills
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
8 years experience with the development of cryptographic and embedded security systems.
Previous experience planning, executing and tracking personal task assignments is required.
Experience with networked systems is mandatory in this role.
Familiarity with Security Agencies certification processes, specifically NSA Type I evaluation process
Familiarity with Formal Analysis concepts
Familiarity with commercial FIPS 140-2 and 140-3 evaluation and certification processes

Desired Experience
Knowledge and application of Communication Security (COMSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) techniques
Knowledge of CMMI and ISO-9001 processes
This position requires an active secret level security clearance.
