Customer Team Manager

As a Customer Team Manager you will be responsible for all phases of sales within the national account team with approximately a $420 million sales volume. The CTM manage a sales team of eight and will oversee the cross-functional relationship between the Wal-Mart Team and the various disciplines aligned for support at Wyeth Consumer Healthcare. You will focus on continuing the execution of our Wal-Mart strategy and participate in the development of a longer-term customer strategy.

Job Responsibilities include:

Growing the business & expanding market share
Management of promotional spending
Cultivating account relationships beyond the buying level
Developing customer specific budgets
Development of customer specific marketing initiatives
Construct and monitor benchmarking/report cards for success
Facilitating top-to-top meetings
Management and development of all sales personnel on the team


Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree
Seven to ten (7-10) years of sales experience, with a minimum of (3) years at a management level
Excellent sales ability and strong leadership skills including solid talent management/development skills
Ability to manage well in a Matrix environment
Comprehensive knowledge of consumer products and industry
Thorough understanding of channels (Food, Mass, Drug) and will posses strong leadership skills.
Demonstrated analytical, collaborative and consultative abilities
Excellent interpersonal, prioritization, and communication skills
Valid driver's license
Willingness to relocate
Ability to travel overnight
