Help Desk / PC Technician:

  • Swing Shift (11:00 am to 8:00 pm Mon-Fri)
  • 1st shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm)

    The Customer Service Analyst works under supervision at our client site, a medical center located in Hartford Connecticut. This person is responsible for Help Desk Support, end user support, everyday equipment support and configuration as well as assisting with repairs. The position will interface closely with the end user / client either face to face or by telephone.

    Responsibilities:

    Heavy help desk and customer service responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Troubleshoots general configurations issues on PCs and printers
  • Provides Tier 1 troubleshooting over the phone
  • Identifies, researches and resolves technical problems
  • Tracks status and follows up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Interface with end user and IT staff regarding equipment problems
  • Installs of new hardware & software
  • Deals with basic LAN / WAN connectivity issues
  • Reporting, communication and documenting as required.


    Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels
  • Knowledge of helpdesk operations
  • Knowledge / Experience of various software and hardware systems
  • Assoc Degree in Comp. Science or Equivalent Experience
  • A + Certification
