Project Description:
The Telecommunication helpdesk will be a tier 1.5 helpdesk taking calls/emailes/tickets/orders from IBM on behalf of a managed care customer. The help desk will be responsible for coordinating order and repair activities with common carriers in support of the managed care contract. The helpdesk will operate 24x7 including holidays. Candidates need to be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays. 1 person needed for 8am to 5pm shift M-F but need candidate to be flexible. Weekend hours may be required.

Job Description:
This position is responsible for coordinating order and repair activities with common carriers in support of a managed care contract. Duties include detailed documentation of customer requests, distribution of those requests to the proper carrier, following up on the requests, including expediting and escalating, when necessary.
